Directions + Transportation

The nearest major airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, which is approximately 2.5 hours away.

Groome Transportation provides shuttle service to and from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Call the Groome Transportation office directly to confirm your space at 928.350.8466.

AZ Shuttle Select offers Non-stop, No Transfers, and Express shuttles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Call the AZ Shuttle Select office directly to confirm your space at 623.200.2849.

If you will be arriving after 7:00 pm please call the welcome center ahead and notify them. They will have a night packet ready for you upon arrival. Night packets will be available for pick up in the Welcome Center foyer.

Accommodation & Amenities

Our retreat accommodations include 95 casita-style guest rooms that are minimally decorated for relaxation and meditation. Our standard rooms offer mini-refrigerators and your own personal bathroom and shower. To maintain an environment conducive to meditation, the rooms do not have televisions or phones. A private room is based on single occupancy (only one person per room, regardless of the number of beds). A shared room is for two people. If you are coming to the retreat by yourself and select a shared room then we will pair you with a person of the same gender. Click here for more information on Accommodations.
Unfortunately, we only allow service dogs. Emotional support animals are not allowed and your check in will be denied if you show up an emotional support animal. Each registration includes accommodations and every other night light cleaning. Your first meal will include dinner, three daily complimentary meals, and on check breakfast and lunch.
There is no wi-fi in our casitas. However, wi-fi service is available in our lounge and training rooms.
We have a self-service laundry room that is operated by quarters. Laundry detergents are also available for purchase. Ironing boards are also located in the laundry room.

Whether you are here solo or with a group, you can enjoy the beauty of our 173-acres. Feel free to register for one of our retreat enhancements or mindful-based personal development workshops.
Our programs include training and practice sessions, accommodations during the length of the program, and three meals a day.

Yes, you are more than welcome to stay an extra night before or after your program, based on availability. Please check our accommodations page to book online or you can call the Welcome Center at (928) 204-3391. Please note: if you are staying in a private or shared room during your program, and you want to extend your stay, we require that you do so in the same room type.

Dining

We offer a pescatarian, vegetarian as well as vegan and gluten-free menu options. Our meals are served buffet style in our dining hall three times a day.
Our dining hall stops serving meals at 7:00 pm. If you are arriving later than 6:45 pm we suggest that you eat before arriving on property. The dining hall opens every morning for breakfast at 7:00 am.

We are open to all faiths and spiritual backgrounds.

You can bring your laptop, but we encourage you to limit your use of technology during your retreat stay to break away from your normal routine and to allow yourself to be fully present.
In our experience, Verizon is the most reliable cell phone carrier. Other carriers have poor signals at Sedona Mago. To assist, we offer a complimentary phone at our Welcome Center to make local calls.
We are located in the high desert at 4,500-feet altitude. Typical desert weather is warm or hot in the day, with dropping temperatures at night. We have dry air and strong winds that can help with the warm temperatures, which also circulate dust and pollen in the air.

The full cost of your reservation will be charged to your credit card at the time of registration.
We have an ATM located in the Welcome Center. We are not able to break bills large than $20, but the ATM carries $5 bills if needed.

The minimum age at Sedona Mago is 16 years. Parents must travel with minors and are required to be with them on the property. Sedona Mago property is not ADA friendly and the terrain includes but is not limited to, hills and dirt paths. The general guest areas are spread over 5 acres, so getting to and from guest rooms to training halls will require guests to walk up to 1/4 mile.
