Simply by living a modern life – full of constant, but not immediately life-threatening stresses your body is tricked into feeling like it is constantly in danger. So, it responds with the classic “fight or flight” stress hormones that helped saved your ancestor’s lives.

During this retreat you will learn how to transform stress into the strength you need to live the fulfilling, productive, happy life you seek, without giving up your demanding job, family obligations or social activities.

Based on Tao practices and principles, this retreat focuses on the chakras — the power centers of the body, with an emphasis on the sacral, solar plexus and heart chakras.

You will learn to access and use Ki energy to balance your chakras and open blocked meridians, literally detoxing from your stress at a cellular level —  so you can maintain your positive energy, even in challenging situations.

In one short weekend, you will learn how to create a happier, more peaceful and fulfilling life.

We will explore how to use your:

  • Diet
  • Exercise
  • Breath and
  • To reframe thought patterns

So they all play a key role in preventing stress from derailing your life.

Your Experience:

Over your three days in the powerful energy of Sedona, your workshop leader, Chun Shim, master healer and teacher, will guide you to a more powerful state.

Meet Your Stress to Strength Leader: Chun Shim

As an expert guide and teacher, Chun delights in seeing her students heal their stress related illnesses and transform their lives. Chun Shim is the regional coordinator for Sedona Mago Retreat in Central Arizona and the manager of the Tao Healing Center in Chandler, Arizona. She has been a master healer, teacher, workshop trainer, and holistic life consultant for individuals and groups for almost two decades.

During this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and practice with a world-leader in stress management. Her hope is that your journey will be vastly enhanced for yourself, your family and planet Earth.

Since 1999 she has helped her workshop participants, around the world, to go beyond theory and into actually experiencing dramatic, long-lasting shifts. She is a gifted energy practitioner and teacher who brings her unique understanding of the human energy systems to help people identify and realign energy imbalances for enhanced Well-Being.

 

  • Dear Chun and Mago Retreat….I have fully enjoyed my time in FTS and FTST.  The minute I pull into the property a sense of calmness enters my body, mind, and spirit.  I started my journey at the Tao Center in Chandler the summer of 2016.  I today cannot imagine my life without all the tools, resources, knowledge, and wisdom I have learned from both retreats and my weekly practices with Chun.  My journey is far from over….I will continue practicing, listening to my heart to access what I have always known and what resides within my physical body: “my light” “My True Self”.  Now I know whatever life brings my way I am equipped to handle all things.  The answers are within!  My sincerest thanks and gratitude to those who have brought to life Mago retreat and a way to a brighter life and world.  Sincerely and with love.

  • My daughter and I came because she felt she was missing purpose in life.  Also she suffers from 2 chronic diseases.  It was her hope and mine that she would find a release for the outward frustration and anger she seemed to be demonstrating.  It was very apparent through her outward release of her emotions that she was touched/or touched her inner self.  Her work and/or stress was giving devastating infliction on her body. Witnessing her calmness and release of emotion was a true gift to me, her mother.  I have been trying to ask her to find that child that was so happy.  After this retreat I think she has the tools to begin to let go of her stress and become that happy soul again.  The bird, spirit, soul movie was exactly what she is experiencing.  As her mother her pain and stress projects onto me.  My lesson is to release that and feel, watch, accept.  Listen and watch—not control.  We will be attending the One True Self in the future.  Perhaps she will also feel the urge to visit Chandler.

  • Chun is the best.  I love her.  From Stress to strength was just what I needed.  I came away happier, calmer and more in control of my heart and soul.  Would recommend to anyone whether you are feeling lonely or lost or feeling positive.  Very good for everyone.  I love Yoon.  She is so delightful and when I come to retreats, I love to see her, greet and hug her.  She always remembers me.  A very good feeling!
