The Tao Te Ching teaches us that “a journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.” As you make your way through the desert wilderness surrounding Sedona Mago Retreat, you may wish to envision this transition as the first stage along your personal path to enlightened healing and spiritual awakening. Here among the red rock vistas you’ll find the perfect natural environment for learning to quiet the mind, relax the body, and rejuvenate the spirit.
Sedona Mago Retreat occupies 163 acres of natural splendor, so if this is your first visit, be sure to time your drive so that you arrive during daylight hours. Driving along Bill Gray Road is a beautifully scenic and invigorating experience, but it’s also an unpaved forest service road and can feel a little bumpy and challenging at times. Because it winds its way through a National Forest, both road signs and lighting tend to be limited, so it’s best to complete your travel before nightfall. Visitors planning to arrive after 5:00 pm are asked to please notify the Welcome Center ahead of time in order to arrange for a late check-in.
