What is a Vortex?

Sedona is world-famous as a prime vortex zone. A vortex is a place on the Earth where unusual amounts of subtle electromagnetic energy enter or leave in a spiral motion. Spiritually attuned people have long sensed vortex energy, and now NASA has a scientific test useful for verifying a vortex's existence.

Of the Earth's 21 known vortexes, five are in Sedona. At Mago, 12 small vortexes form one large vortex. It corresponds to the acupressure points of the human body. Each vortex has its unique energy. Experiencing them all can help you to feel the soul of the Earth.
